Centura Public Schools Centura is a preK-12 school system about students, excellence and innovation. The mission of Centura, as an innovative educational system, is to provide for all students educational experiences that will prepare them for an ever-changing society. Centura is an NDE Frameworks school; year in and year out over 80% of Centura graduates enroll in a 2-year or 4-year post-secondary institution. Centura teachers are all trained in L to J formative assessment practices, Blended Learning, and APL instructional strategies. Centura students routinely exceed the Nebraska ACT average in the areas of Math and Science. Centura is a technology-rich environment with LCD projectors and SmartBoards available in every classroom and a laptop computer program wherein every secondary student receives their own laptop.
