Centura Public Schools Completes Superintendent Search Process with McPherson & Jacobson, L.L.C.

The Centura Public Schools Board of Education has selected Dr. Ashley Tomjack to become their superintendent of schools for the 2023-2024 school year. Dr. Tomjack will begin on/about July 1st.

Dr. Tomjack has served Grand Island Public Schools as their Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction,Assessment and Professional Learning since July 2020. Prior to that, she served as the Principal for Blumfield Elementary School in the Ralston Public Schools district (2018-2020). Prior to becoming an administrator, she served as an Administrative Intern for Millard Public Schools and an elementary teacher for Elkhorn Public schools and Grand Island Public Schools. Dr. Tomjack is a proud graduate of Centura Public Schools Class of 2005. Dr. Ashley Tomjack, along with Mr. Johnnie Ostermeyer, interviewed with the board of education, multiple staff, and community members.
