Centura Public Schools will maintain local control on any changes made to our Health Standards. We disagree with the Health Standard drafted by the Nebraska Department of Education and will not be implementing these at Centura. NDE and the Commissioner are awaiting a second draft after receiving input from Superintendents, parents, Senators, and others. We will review the second draft and always utilize local control in any changes or reviews of Centura’s health standards.
