Centura Boys Track Team Prepares for the Season

Head Track Coach Geoff Cyboron reports that on the boys side of track season they are looking forward to having some state experience returning to the track.
Willy Packer is a senior and returning two time state medalist in the pole vault and is looking to make a shot for the top. Following Willy will be two very talented state qualifying pole vaulters, senior Noah Bruggeman and junior Noah Wooden. Last season, each of them were individual champions in different meets. These three will make an impact and I expect them to be consistent point scorers in other events as well. Dawson Caspersen is a returning state qualifier in the triple jump and 4×100 relay. We have a fairly big group of throwers this year and are excited to see senior Barrett Selden and junior Austin Simmons lead the group. Coach Cyboron is excited to see what our boys can do on the track. Our team currently has 26 eager to compete athletes.
