The ratings of each entry were as followed:

Gabi Neice Vocal Solo-1, Abby Hadenfeldt Vocal Solo-1, Taylor Grabowski Vocal Solo-1, Molly Nitsch Vocal Solo-1, Grace McDonald Vocal Solo-1

Madison Hickok Piano Solo-1

Centura Chamber Choir-1 Chamber Choir Members were Joselyn Mullins, Molly Nitsch, Abby Hadenfeldt, Diana Ramirez, Taylor Grabowski, Grace McDonald, Madison Hickok, Elayna Holcomb, Brynn Korinek, and Miranda Frerichs.

Centura High School Choir-2

Centura High School Band-2

Grace McDonald and Madison Hickok Vocal Duet-2

Colten Seevers Vocal Solo-2

John Kortz Piano Solo-2

Overall, there was a lot of improvement from all of the Centura students since last performing their selections at their pre-district concert. This was particularly noticeable in Centura’s large ensembles.

Centura’s instrumental students were taught by Mr. Logan Gregory, vocal students were taught by Mrs. Kimberly Killinger, and the two piano soloists were both from the studio of Mrs. Beverly Weibe-Brown.

Gibbon High School did an outstanding job hosting, everything ran very efficiently, and they had great communication with the music directors.

Ally Phillips Creates a Mural for her Genius Learning Project

My name is Ally Phillips and my Genius Learning project I’ve been working on for the past month is a moveable mural for the Centura band room. The mural is of a Centurion or Spartan soldier that will be 9′ tall when it is finally finished. Right now it is going through final touches before it is put on the band room wall. It is a showcase of the extra mile I’ve gone for the band program.
