Homecoming 2018 will be early this year as there are only four home games.
Homecoming Week will be Aug. 26th-Sept. 1
The football game will be against Doniphan-Trumball on Friday. Aug. 31.
The dance will be on Saturday, Sept. 1, with the coronation at 7:30 pm and the dance from 8-11 pm.
The theme this year is “A Little Bit of Country.”

Wood River Family Care will be doing sports physical on Wednesday May 16th after school from 2:30-4:30. The fee will be $20 per student with all proceeds going to the Post Prom. Students need to bring a cash or check with them along with the completed form signed by a parent or guardian. Wear loose clothing. Achievement Night will be held at Centura Friday, April 27th. A meal will be served at 6:00pm. The cost of the meal is $10. Please sign up yourself and your parents, if they are attending, with Laurie McDonald no later than April 20th. Remember, if you attend Achievement Night, students will receive their $10 back. Thank you!
Students are invited to a Superhero-themed 1 mile run/walk, 5K and 10K on Saturday, May 19th at Central Community College beginning at 9:00am. One free Hurtz Donut for each registered Runner!

As mentioned at the back to school parents night, the first in a series of parent outreach nights is scheduled for Tuesday, November 14. The topic of the evening is ‘Fortifying the Emotional and Social Well Being of Youth’. The evening’s speaker will be Kylie Surmeier. The outreach evening will begin at 6:30pm and will end at 7:30pm and will take place in the Little Theater. No RSVP is necessary. Please plan to join other parents in learning about the emotional and social well being of children!
