Centurion Wrestlers Fight Hard at Districts and Qualify Two for State Wrestling

After the district wrestling tournament Coach Carlson reported, “Well I can’t even begin to explain the highs and lows of how  the district wrestling tournament on Friday and Saturday.  The end result is the Centurions have two state qualifiers who are Kile Bentley at 152 lbs. and Austin Simmons at 220 lbs.”  Coach Carlson went on the exclain, “We had two more in the last round, Jack Sokol and Nolan Johnson,  that wrestled really well throughout the tournament. Jack and Nolan really put it all out there on the line and gave it their best effort .  They did what is essentially what I’m coaching for;  to maximize your potential and your effort. So now we prepare for these two young men to go get on that podium in Omaha next weekend!”

3rd Place – Kile Bentley of Centura
4th Place – Alexis Sauceda of Hastings St. Cecilia


1st Place – Kalten Bauers of Centennial
2nd Place – Anthony Buresh of Aquinas Catholic
3rd Place – Josh Bailey of Johnson County Central
4th Place – Austin Simmons of Centura
