Centura Girls Basketball go 1-1 at Ravenna Holiday Tournament

Centura Girls basketball participated in the Ravenna Holiday Tournament over Christmas break.  The girls went 1-1 at the tournament.

Centura Girls vs. Riverside

Coach Thober reported the girls did not play with much intensity, which allowed Riverside to hand around for four quarters.  However he said, “The girls did do a nice job finishing out the game hitting free throws down the stretch to hold on for the win!”Scoring by Quarters

Centura Girls Vs. Ravenna

“We played really hard most of the game”, reported Coach Thober about the Ravenna Game.  He went on to summarize the game by indicating, “the 3rd quarter was again not good for us as we had a couple of breakdowns which lead to Ravenna hitting 3 three’s and scoring 15 points. We did a nice job battling back cutting it to a 1 possession game with under a minute left but Ravenna made their free throws and we could not pull it off.”  Coach indicated that he was really proud of the girls’ fight and effort!
