The Centura football team suffered their first loss of the season to Hershey by a score of 14-18. The Centurions led the entire game until the last 42 seconds, when Hershey dropped back to pass on 4th and 9 and hit their receiver in the end zone.
This was a tough loss for the Centurions, but they battled very hard against a top 10 opponent.
The Centurions were led by Kaleb Johnson who ran for a team high 128 yards. Willy Packer caught two touchdown passes from Jose Guzman. The second touchdown put Centura up 14-6 in the 4th quarter, but that score would not hold up in the end.
Centura starts district play this week by taking on Central City at home on September 23rd.
